Welcome

The view at Willow CottageWelcome to the website of Maureen and Peter Scargill. This is one of a pair of sites about us. This is our UK site and tells you about us and something of our lives in the UK and US. Here’s our sister site in Spain.

Maureen and I currently live in Northumberland and also in Andalucia, in Spain. We presently share our homes with our 2 cats. Maureen has until recently spent many years teaching at Hexham Middle School while I ran until recently an electronics design company (with a replacement brewing) as well as being the National IT Chairman of the UK’s leading business organisation, the FSB until June 2015. We co-run a holiday rental property .

Maureen is from the US and almost all of our remaining relatives are based there. You can find lots of information in here and there is more in various blogs – speaking of which don’t forget to check out the BLOG in here as this gets updated quite frequently.

If you would like to look at some of our photos – here is our Google web photo album. Somewhat over 6,000 images I believe. I’ve recently moved photos over to Flickr so you might find this Scargill Flickr site more useful with over 7,000 images.

BedrockWant to read about our home in Spain? Here is the Bedrock blog and again there are plenty of related photos in our web albums to enjoy.

If you’ve any comments to make there is a form on the top menu, by all means get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
