Welcome to Maureen and Peter Scargill’s blog. This is one of a pair of blogs about us. This is our UK version and tells you about us and something of our lives in the UK and Spain. Here is our (more often updated) sister blog in Spain.
Maureen and I currently live in Galera, Andalusia, in Spain and also have a home in Bellingham, Northumberland . We presently share our homes with our 3 cats. Maureen, until she retired, spent many years teaching at Hexham Middle School while I ran an electronics design company as well as being the National IT Chairman of the UK’s (then) leading business organisation, the FSB until June 2015. We have managed several holiday rental companies over time.
Maureen is from Chicago, USA and most of our remaining relatives are based there. You can find lots of information in here and there is more in various blogs.
