So I was looking around for something new for the break, a new game perhaps when I stumbled across BioShock Infinite. This isn’t a new FPS game but it is different. I’d ignored it the first time around (when it cost a lot of money) but on seeing one of the screenshots such as the one here, I decided to give it a whirl. It is amazing.

If you shop around the web you’ll see prices as high as £42 – and as low as £12. Play.Com were particularly disappointing as I usually count on them – £18.

Then I spotted this offer at Steam’s own site – it was available for one day only… £6.24. I went for it – and by the time I’d logged in – the price had doubled…. I don’t know if the original was the USA store showing UK prices or what but I quickly backtracked to the first link – clicked on BUY and got it – a mere few pounds for a superb game. Bargain.

Today the same store http://store.steampowered.com/ has Far Cry 3 for less than a fiver if you happen to read this in time – I’ve already done this game and it is utterly amazing – it was worth the money at 5 times that amount… If you like your games the store is well worth checking regularly for offers.
